LARGE MODERNIST 'S40' HIGHBOARD BY DIETER WAECKERLIN FOR BEHR, 1950S
€0.00
Fantastic minimalistic highboard designed by Swiss architect Dieter Waeckerlin for Behr Möbel in Germany in the 1950s. A great modernist and purist design made of teak wood on a slim black lacquered metal base. Lots of storage inside and finished with maple wood which provides a nice contrast. Underneath we find 4 large drawers. In very good restored condition. This model often gets the name ‘B60’ but the correct model is ‘S40’ such as stated in the original catalog and on the backside of this example. Also dated: 05/07/1961.
