DUTCH PAIR OF MODERNIST EASY CHAIRS IN THE STYLE OF KHO LIANG, 1960S
Fantastic pair of modernist lounge chairs produced in The Netherlands during the 1960s. This design is very similar to some of Kho Liang’s work for Artifort but until now I have not found any proof of this yet which makes them even more interesting. The design of these chairs is characterized by a unique combination of materials and thanks to the slatted backrests in beautiful patinated oak. The cushions have been professionally reupholstered with a light blue wool fabric which combines perfectly with the oak slats.
