Lovely set of 6 ‘S11’ dining chairs designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform. These chairs are from Alfred’s early design period in the 50s where he was clearly inspired by Italian and Scandinavian designers. As such they feature a very light and elegant black lacquered wooden frame. The seats have been reupholstered with a soft off-white fabric. They remain in excellent condition with small traces of use. These chairs by Hendrickx are hard to find, especially as a set of 6.
