Exceptional modernist dining table or freestanding desk designed by Jean Batenburg for E.M.Y. around 1965. It features a beautiful rosewood top which can be extended from 180cm-240cm thanks to a central leaf. The refined metal base with sledge feet gives this piece a very modern and sophisticated look. Clearly inspired by the works of Jules Wabbes. Comes from the first owner who took very good care of it as it remains in mint condition. Very interesting and unique table desk!
