RARE PAIR OF LOUNGE CHAIS BY ALFRED HENDRICKX FOR BELFORM, 1958
RARE PAIR OF LOUNGE CHAIS BY ALFRED HENDRICKX FOR BELFORM, 1958
An exceptional and beautiful pair of lounge chairs designed by Alfred Hendrickx for the Expo of 1958 in Brussels. They have an elegant walnut frame with floating armrests and brass details. These chairs are very rare and seem not to be documented in the 50s catalog, however they are mentioned in a magazine where they are clearly present on the Belform stand at Expo 58 together with other famous Hendrickx funiture from the period (see picture). Reupholstered with a nice period-correct Kvadrat Hallingdal fabric so in mint condition.
Price per chair. Also sold separately.
