An exceptional desk lamp probably designed by Pierre Guariche for Disderot in 1952. I say probably because it resembles a documented model very well but it is not 100% the same. So this could also be a prototype or one-off version. Either way a very beautiful and rare lamp from the period. The base is made of brass and it has a black lacquered shade with a hole for a great light effect. In good original condition with some visible traces of age and patina.
