EARLY 'SUPER-ELLIPTICAL' TABLE BY PIET HEIN & BRUNO MATHSSON FOR FRITZ HANSEN, 1960s

€0.00

Early ‘Superellipse’ dining table designed by Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson & Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1968. This is a rare 180cm version with pedestal base, only available for a very short time in the early years of production (60-70s). It features a white laminated top with aluminum edge and a beautiful 6-legged central base made out of chromed steel and aluminum. This table is in good vintage condition, with small visible traces of use on the top such as light scratches and tiny dents. Not surprising after +-50 years of normal use. Still a great and unique table which sits up to 8 persons easily thanks to the central base.

We also have a smaller version of this table in stock (150cm).

Matching ‘3107’ chairs by Arne Jacobsen also available.
