A rare first edition of the ‘Ant’ (3101) chair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1952. This early three-legged chair has the Fritz Hansen tag embossed directly metal cap under the seat which is made out of teak wood. A true collector’s item in original condition. The back has a small starting crack (see picture) but is still solid and the legs have a lot of beautiful patina. Perfect as a side chair.
