XL TEAK 'B40' SIDEBOARD BY DIETER WAECKERLIN FOR BEHR, 1958
XL TEAK 'B40' SIDEBOARD BY DIETER WAECKERLIN FOR BEHR, 1958
Proud to present this modernist model ‘B40’ sideboard designed by Swiss architect Dieter Waeckerlin and produced by Behr Möbel (labeled) in Germany in the 1950s. A great minimalistic and pure design made out of teak wood on a black lacquered metal base. The inside is finished in maple wood and the removable trays have a funky blue lacquered touch. There’s even a bottle holder which can be taken out also. Freshly cleaned and oiled this sideboard remains in very good original condition with some normal traces of use like small spots or scratches as seen on the pictures. Ultra high-end masterpiece: ‘less is more’ has never been more accurate.
Fun fact: it comes with the original catalog from back in the day!
