MODERNIST 'B20' SIDEBOARD BY DIETER WAECKERLIN FOR BEHR, 1958
MODERNIST 'B20' SIDEBOARD BY DIETER WAECKERLIN FOR BEHR, 1958
Modernist model ‘B20’ sideboard designed by Swiss architect Dieter Waeckerlin and produced by Behr Möbel in Germany in the 1950s. This is the compact version of the larger ‘B40’ model we recently had in stock. It has the same minimalistic and pure design made out of teak wood on a black lacquered metal base. The inside is finished in maple wood and the removable bottle holder has a funky blue lacquered touch. This sideboard is in good condition with some normal traces of use and the top has been professionally restored. A rare minimalistic masterpiece with sublime proportions: less is more.
